We are seeking a caring and motivated Behavior Technician to join our team and provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) supports to children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.


Position Summary

The Behavior Technician delivers individualized ABA services under the supervision of a Behavior Specialist. Services are primarily provided at our Autism Center in Fremont, Michigan, with occasional sessions in clients’ homes or community settings.

You’ll work directly with clients ages 18 months to 21 years, helping them build important life skills, such as communication, self-care, and adaptive behaviors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans as designed by the supervising Behavior Specialist.

  • Collect and record accurate data on client progress.

  • Support clients in achieving goals related to communication, social, and daily living skills.

  • Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.

  • Participate in required supervision and ongoing training to ensure high-quality care.


Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Licensure: Valid Michigan driver’s license.

  • Preferred Experience: Previous work with children or adults with developmental disabilities or autism (training provided if no prior experience).

  • Skills: Compassionate, reliable, patient, and eager to learn; strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Schedule & Compensation

  • Hours: Part-time (20–32 hours per week); scheduling based on client needs.  Hours are typically between 2:00pm - 8:00pm.

  • Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

  • Supervision: Ongoing support and supervision provided by a Behavior Specialist (at least one hour of supervision for every 10 hours of direct service).
