Whether you've gained experience through babysitting, childcare, coaching, teaching, mentoring, or volunteering, you may already have the skills to succeed as a Behavior Technician.

What You'll Do

• Work one-on-one with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities
• Help clients build communication, social, play, and daily living skills
• Implement ABA behavior Treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Encourage progress and celebrate meaningful milestones
• Track client progress using a mobile application
• Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, and families to support client success

Many healthcare and behavioral health professionals begin their careers as Behavior Technicians. This role provides valuable hands-on experience that can support future careers in education, therapy, healthcare, and behavior analysis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• College credits preferred but not required
• Experience working with children preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• CPR/BLS Certification or willingness to obtain
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and eager to learn
• Comfortable using technology for documentation
