These steps outline our hiring
process:
- You will receive an email to complete an employment
application AND sign consent(s) for us to contact
your previous employers.
- You will be invited to a virtual interview.
- If you pass the virtual interview, you will be
invited to an in-person interview to observe therapy sessions.
- If you pass the in-person interview, we will process
your background checks and send you an offer letter.
- After you sign an offer letter, we will send you
onboarding paperwork to complete to complete electronically.
- After all of your onboarding paperwork is complete,
you will start your in-person, in-clinic training.
Job Description
- Provide
applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a center-based or
community-based setting
- Support
each client with the understanding they are trying to communicate their
wants and needs
- Teach
clients ways to communicate their wants and needs so others in their
environment are able to understand their individualized needs
- Support
each client through the lens of teaching opportunities
- Support
each client with an understanding they are an individual and their
individuality is the highest priority for their care
- Assist
in the facilitation of a professional work environment that is welcoming
to all colleagues, clients, and families
- Implement
teaching programs as outlined by the Behavior Analyst
- Advocate
for appropriate training to ensure programs are being implemented with
fidelity
- Collect
minute-by-minute data accurately and enter into the electronic medical
record system
- Attend
meetings, trainings, and workshops to develop professional skills and
further knowledge
- Adhere
to time and attendance policies
- Adhere
to company policies
- Adhere
to Federal and State laws specific to healthcare and health records
Qualifications
- High
School diploma or equivalent
- College
course work in human development and/or behavior analysis (preferred)
- Registered
Behavior Technician® credential (preferred)
- Ability
to pass a Level 1 FBI Background check, including finger printing
- Active
Driver’s License
