Behavior Technician/RBT

Role Description The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will work as part of a clinical team to provide direct behavior-analytic services to preschool aged children in their home settings. We are currently hiring for Pembroke, MA and Scituate, MA locations. Intervention is provided using the Early Start Denver Model, which is a blend of Developmental Psychology and ABA techniques, implementing teaching through play-based activities and daily routines. This part-time role involves implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, collecting and recording data on client progress, and supporting clients in building communication, social, and daily living skills. The RBT will collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other clinicians, participate in team meetings, and provide feedback on client progress and needs. Daily responsibilities include preparing session materials, maintaining a safe and professional therapeutic environment within home settings, and communicating effectively with supervisors and caregivers about session activities and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification or eligibility to obtain RBT certification within a specified timeframe.

• Knowledge of child development, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and experience implementing behavior intervention plans preferred.
• \n
• Strong observation, data collection, and documentation skills to track client progress accurately.
• \n
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• \n
• Ability to maintain professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity in a clinical setting.
• \n
• Reliability in following treatment protocols and clinical guidelines, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• \n
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
• \n
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges is highly beneficial.
• \n
• Capacity to work on-site in Scituate and Pembroke, MA, and to meet physical demands of direct client care (e.g., sitting on the floor, engaging in play-based activities).
