Description:
Under
the
direction
of
the
staff
members
listed
above,
the
Behavior
Technician
works
as
a
team
member
with
teachers,
counselors,
school
social
workers
and
other
appropriate
personnel
to
develop
appropriate
and
positive
student
behavior.
Implements
strategies
that
focus
on
decreasing
maladaptive
behaviors
and
increasing
social,
communication
and
adaptive
skills.
Knowledge
of:
and
ability
to
implement,
de-escalation
techniques
and
ability
to
implement,
behavior
management
techniques
intensive
behavior
intervention
techniques
basic
subjects
taught
including;
mathematics,
language
arts,
science
and
social
studies.

in
