Position Overview

As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct ABA therapy to children and youth (ages 2\u201321) in their homes and community environments. You'll work under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans that support social, behavioral, and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \u2022Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to youth ages 2\u201321 in home and community settings.
  • \u2022Implement treatment plans and behavior strategies developed by a BCBA.
  • \u2022Collect and record data on client progress using designated systems.
  • \u2022Support clients with communication, social, and functional living skills.
  • \u2022Maintain regular communication with supervisors, families, and team members.
  • \u2022Participate in ongoing training and clinical supervision sessions.

Qualifications:

  • \u2022High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or higher preferred).
  • \u2022Experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
  • \u2022Strong interpersonal skills and ability to follow clinical guidance.
  • \u2022Willingness to complete RBT certification and ongoing professional training.
  • \u2022Reliable transportation and ability to travel within assigned region.
  • \u2022Registered Behavior Technicians will be in good standing with the BACB and comply with all regulations set forth under the RBT certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • \u2022Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer).
  • \u2022Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • \u2022Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • \u2022Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis.
  • \u2022Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Rates are determined based on a combination of factors such as experience level, assignment location, service setting, and applicable program guidelines.
