The Department of Human Development and Family Studies seeks applications for master-level and doctoral-level behavioral health interventionists that will deliver manualized, evidence-based psychosocial interventions (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based intervention, interpersonal psychotherapy) with groups of adolescents experiencing or at-risk for mental and/or cardiometabolic health issues in the context of clinical research trials. The behavioral health interventionist will additionally participate in regular didactic training and individual/group clinical supervision. This clinical position may also require assessment of mental health concerns (e.g., depression, self-harm, suicidality, disordered eating behaviors) via empirically supported semi-structured clinical interviews, risk assessment, and risk management intervention delivery
$50.00 - $90.00 per hour dependent on education level and experience.
Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires).
Supervise and provide clinical guidance to research associates and assistants who complete risk assessments with research study participants, including guiding risk management strategies to mitigate suicidality and risk for self-injurious behaviors.
