Behavioral Health Nurse Manager - RN | Full -Time

The Staff Pad has partnered with a well -known hospital in Helena, MT to hire an experienced Behavioral Health Nurse Manager to provide operational and clinical leadership for an inpatient behavioral health program.<\/span><\/span>

What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer and in coordination with the hospital, the Behavioral Health Unit Manager will:<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Oversee daily unit operations, patient flow, and the delivery of Behavioral Health services<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Serves as an administrative leader collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance the organization’s mission, vision, values, and goals<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Lead staff and departmental operations while fostering a professional, supportive, and collaborative practice environment<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Promote patient safety, advocacy, teamwork, respect, and operational excellence<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Build and sustain a cohesive, engaged, and high -performing team culture<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support innovative behavioral health services across inpatient and community -based settings<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Optimize operational performance, quality outcomes, fiscal accountability, and patient experience<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support strategic planning through business planning, budgeting, resource management, quality improvement, staff development, and performance management<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures while ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Defines the treatment program’s philosophy, goals, and objectives in collaboration with the Medical Director<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Directly supervises clinical and administrative staff and provides advisory support to Behavioral Health Unit personnel<\/span><\/span>

    Qualifications<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p>

    • 5+ years of progressive management/leadership experience in a Behavioral Health setting required<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Demonstrated success in team building, coaching, mentoring, and staff development<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with EPIC preferred<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • BSN required; Postgraduate degree preferred<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Current RN license in the State of Montana required<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • BLS & SECURE (or equivalent) certifications required<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Mental Health First Aid certification required<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • MS Office and applicable software system proficiency<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
