Job Description: Medical Practice Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-oriented Practice Manager for a growing behavioral health outpatient practice. The ideal candidate is a confident, "can-do" self-starter with a proven ability to manage and enhance day-to-day operations in a dynamic healthcare environment. Behavioral health experience is a significant advantage. This role will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations to ensure seamless functionality across all departments.
Develop and implement efficient processes and workflows to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Develop and generate timely Key Performance Indicator reports by department
Monitor and improve clinic performance metrics, including patient satisfaction and revenue cycle outcomes.
Staff Management:
Supervise and lead administrative and clinical teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Handle recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development of staff.
Ensure compliance with staffing regulations and credentialing requirements.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and industry regulations, including HIPAA.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures to mitigate risks and enhance patient safety.
Coordinate audits and ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
Experience managing a medical practice; behavioral health experience is a strong plus.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proven track record to develop and to generate timely Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports
Expertise in medical billing, revenue cycle management, and financial oversight a plus
Thorough understanding of healthcare compliance and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Proficiency in practice management software and electronic health records (EHR).
