Behavioral Health Professional

Key Responsibilities:

• Charting:<\/b> Review and sign off on BHT charting to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and state regulations.

• Team Management:<\/b> Supervise and manage the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) team, providing guidance, support, and oversight.
  <\/li>
• Counseling:<\/b> Conduct individual counseling sessions to support clients' mental health and well -being.
  <\/li>
• Group Therapy:<\/b> Facilitate group counseling sessions via telehealth, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment.
  <\/li>
• Compliance:<\/b> Ensure all activities and documentation comply with state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies.
  <\/li>
• Collaboration:<\/b> Work closely with other healthcare professionals and administrative staff to provide comprehensive care to clients.
  <\/li>
• Reporting:<\/b> Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and team activities, and provide regular updates to the administration.
  <\/li>
• Continuous Improvement:<\/b> Stay updated with the latest best practices and advancements in social work and mental health.
  <\/li>
• Hourly Commitment: <\/b>15 - 20 hours virtually a week.<\/span>

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a diverse client population.
    <\/li>
  • Specialized training or certification in a specific area of mental health (e.g., trauma, DUI, substance abuse).

  • Familiarity with BHT roles and responsibilities.

    Requirements<\/h3>

    • Licensures:<\/b> Must hold a current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience:<\/b> Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with experience in telehealth preferred.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Management Skills:<\/b> Proven ability to manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Technical Skills:<\/b> Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Communication:<\/b> Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Ethics:<\/b> Strong understanding of ethical practices and confidentiality requirements in mental health care.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Flexibility:<\/b> Ability to adapt to changing needs and work effectively in a remote setting.

    • Fingerprint Clearance: <\/b>Must pass a fingerprint clearance background check.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • First Aid/CPR Certification:<\/b> Must hold current First Aid and CPR certifications.
