Be the First Point of Care as a Behavioral Health Scheduler
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-5:00pm. 40 hours weekly. In office while training.
As a Behavioral Health Scheduler, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our clients' access to timely, person-centered behavioral health services. As the first voice many of our clients hear, you’ll help create a welcoming experience—ensuring appointments are scheduled accurately, client information is up to date, and communication flows seamlessly between team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Answer high volume of incoming calls and assist clients with scheduling, rescheduling, and general inquiries
- Schedule appointments for multiple behavioral health providers across various locations
- Verify and update client information, including contact details and insurance
- Explain the Open Access process to clients seeking to begin services
- Accurately document call details and update the care team accordingly
- Coordinate interpreters when needed for scheduled appointments
- Follow up with clients who missed appointments to assist with rescheduling
- Manage Psychiatry Provider schedule changes, cancellations, and backfilling appointments
- Collaborate with front desk and department staff to ensure scheduling accuracy
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance at all times
Education, Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• High School/GED preferred
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with behavioral health scheduling preferred
• Experience with multi-line phone systems preferred
