This position works as a compassionate, dedicated, and dependable professional within our Residential Treatment & Detox Services team.
As a Behavioral Health Specialist II, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing person-centered care to individuals throughout their recovery journey. Responsibilities may include conducting screenings and assessments, completing admissions and discharges, maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu, facilitating psychoeducational groups, providing individual support and crisis intervention, assisting with medication handling, completing clinical documentation, transporting clients to appointments, collaborating with internal and external partners, and delivering exceptional customer service. We are seeking individuals in the following programs:
Detoxification Program
Our 30-bed Detoxification Program provides around-the-clock care for adults experiencing substance use disorders. Admissions occur 24 hours a day, requiring a flexible team dedicated to providing safe, recovery-oriented care. This position requires availability to workdays, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
A New Beginning Program
Our A New Beginning Program is an innovative residential treatment program serving adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Staff provide therapeutic support in a structured residential setting while helping individuals build the skills needed for long-term recovery. This position requires flexibility to workdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight coverage as needed.

Employment Standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, nursing, counseling, or a related field; plus, 1,500 hours of clinical experience;
OR a bachelor's degree and a valid Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification or Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) certification; plus, 1,500 hours of clinical experience;
OR a master's degree in psychology, social work, nursing, counseling, or a related field; plus, 500 hours of clinical experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to transport clients to activities, lift up to 20 lbs, and maintain building security when alone on shift. Must be able to perform CPR and administer First Aid. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
