Behavioral Health Technician

Our Client is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide for residential care to support trauma-focused residential program for youth ages 13–17 recovering from human trafficking and complex trauma in Arnold Area.

* Schedules Available
Morning 7am-3pm, Afternoon 3pm-11pm and overnight 11am-7pm available 7 days a week with flexible Shifts.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide therapeutic and/or behavioral support to children and youth participating in the residential program.
* Implement daily activities, individual plan treatment goals, and monitor resident behavior.
* Assist in monitoring residents’ daily living skills, including personal hygiene, dressing, and care of possessions.
* Assist in supporting healthy eating behaviors by preparing meals and snacks.
* Assist in monitoring and increasing resident life skills development.
* Develop, implement, and participate in all resident activities and outings, including recreational activities, education and vocational training.
* Other Duties Assigned

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Compassionate about the care and well being of others
* Minimum of a High School Diploma
* Must have 2+ years of experience in a residential setting serving children and youth preferred.
* Must have a valid Driver's License and your own transportation
* Ability to complete and pass background check
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
