Introduction
The Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services is seeking a talented and motivated individual to serve as a Behavioral Health Therapist with the Early Intervention Services line. Job Summary
This is an opportunity within the Early Intervention (EI) Services line, part of the statewide system of Early Intervention services known as the Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia. Loudoun Early Intervention provides supports and services to children birth to thirty-six months of age and their families under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). A Behavioral Health Therapist in EI provides Assessments and Therapeutic Services as well as Case Management to families with infants and toddlers ages birth to three years with disabilities or developmental delays within childrens natural environments.
In this role you will:
Hiring salary commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for a $6,000 hiring bonus in accordance with the County's Hiring and Retention Bonus Program.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree; license eligible within one (1) year of hire or possess professional licensure through the VA Department of Health Professions Board as a: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP). One (1) year of professional experience working with individuals who have a mental health and/or substance use diagnosis, which may include internship experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
The successful candidate:
Must be fitted for N-95 (or similar) mask to safely provide on-site services as needed.
Must be able to drive County vehicles, including minivans and 15-passenger vans.
Must be eligible for certification as a Virginia Early Intervention Professional and Case Manager
Post Conditional Offer and Contingencies
Must have a good driving record and a valid drivers license in Virginia or regional state of residence.
Must be available to work schedule is 37.5 hours per
Employment is contingent upon successfully passing pre-employment background check to include fingerprinting, credit, NCIC, DMV and TB test.
