UPMC's Bellefield Outpatient Clinic is looking for a licensed Behavioral Health Therapist II to join the team! Bellefield OP is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services both in-person and virtually to adults facing a variety of challenges. We support individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions through evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Our team is committed to fostering a supportive and compassionate environment, helping our clients achieve their personal goals and maintain their overall well-being.

Our Behavioral Health Therapist is eligible for a $7000 sign on bonus with a 2 year work commitment!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clinical productivity records and timely documentation.
  • Provide individual and group therapy in home, school, and community settings.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Apply evidence-based treatment approaches and interventions.
  • Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, case reviews, and care coordination.
  • Manage caseloads and related administrative responsibilities.
  • Coordinate referrals and connect patients to appropriate services and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensure, and authorization requirements.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, professional development, and student mentoring.

Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.

Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT or Clinical Social Worker (CSW is required.

Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
