Job Requirement:
Advocates for patient's unmet needs. Provides clinical intervention (counseling, support) as needed.
Ensure coordination of community agency services and resources by serving as a liaison between the medical and community providers as appropriate to meet family needs.
Provide individual, group, family or marriage therapy. Baker Act patients as needed.
Collaborates with physicians, nursing, customer service and administrative staff.
Confers with Supervisor on caseload responsibilities.
Counsels with patient and family and may involve community resources.
Promotes a patient- and family-centered care environment for ethical decision making. Advocates for patients to promote optimal care and outcomes. Promotes autonomous decision making by patients.
Serves as a liaison between this program and other areas of service that interact with this program and patients.
Collect and enter Research data, and review lab and procedure results.
Ensure compliance of regulatory and organizational policies and procedures and recommends changes in the department policies and procedures as identified.
Qualifications:Experience Requirements:
3 years-mental health/social work
Licensure:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Required at time of hire Licensed
Psychologist – Required at time of hire
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) – Required or at time of hire
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) – Required or at time of hire
Education:
Masters - Mental Health related field – Required
Travel Up to 50%
Operational Control:
Operational Control Reports to the Center Director
