Woodbridge School District is accepting applications for a Behavioral Intervention Special Education Teacher at WECEC. This is a full-time, 10-month, benefit-eligible teaching position.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Behavioral Intervention Special Education Teacher provides targeted instructional and behavioral support for students in grades Kâ2 who exhibit significant behavioral, social-emotional, or self-regulation challenges. This role focuses on creating a structured, positive learning environment that promotes skill development, academic progress, and behavioral growth. The Behavior Teacher collaborates closely with classroom teachers, school counselors, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), social-emotional learning strategies, and academic supports aligned with each student's needs.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND EXPECTATIONS:
This is a 10-month position based on a 188-day annual contract. Employees are expected to work 7.5 hours per day, consistent with the established school and district schedules. Responsibilities may include duties beyond instructional time, such as meetings, professional development, and school-related events. Employees are expected to maintain regular attendance, fulfill all assigned responsibilities, and demonstrate flexibility to meet the evolving needs of students, staff, and the district.
