Position Summary
The Bellperson plays a vital role in delivering a welcoming, polished, and supportive arrival and departure experience. This position requires a gracious demeanor, strong knowledge of the resort, and a proactive approach to guest assistance, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout the guest journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival with warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness.
- Safely and efficiently transport luggage during arrival and departure in accordance with resort standards.
- Escort guests to accommodations while providing a clear and engaging orientation of room features, resort amenities, and services.
- Deliver guest amenities, packages, newspapers, and special requests promptly and accurately.
- Assist guests with parking directions and vehicle coordination.
- Transport guests to nearby attractions and within the resort via golf cart or vehicle as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bell areas, carts, and storage spaces.
- Anticipate guest needs and offer assistance proactively.
- Communicate guest requests or observations to the Front Office team.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk up to 9 hours per shift
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to superior guest service.
Hourly Rate: $16.00 – $17.00 / hour plus gratuities
