What You’ll Do
Lead and support a team of patternmakers, technicians, and apprentices
Plan and prioritize daily shop operations to meet production deadlines
Oversee fabrication, repair, and modification of patterns and tooling
Review blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate builds
Partner with engineering and production teams to meet project requirements
Troubleshoot issues and drive process improvements
Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Train, mentor, and develop your team
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in patternmaking, tooling, or related field
2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings
Experience with foundry tooling (highly preferred)
Knowledge of machining, fabrication, or CNC processes (a plus)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Hands-on leader who can balance floor support + team leadership
