Bender Machine Operator 1st shift

1st Shift B1 Bender Machine Operator
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour

Shift Schedule:
Monday Friday, 6:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
Occasional Saturdays, 6:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Operate bender machines to form metal tubing and components according to job specifications and production requirements
• Understand and verify bend angles, twist angles, rotation, and orientation requirements during the bending process
• Make basic program changes, tooling adjustments, and setup modifications to support production needs and part accuracy
• Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and work instructions
• Inspect parts using measuring and inspection tools such as tape measures, calipers, angle finders, protractors, and gauges
• Load and unload materials and finished parts while maintaining safe material handling practices
• Complete production documentation accurately
• Communicate quality or production concerns to supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/32 "
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of dimensional measurements and angles
• Basic computer knowledge preferred
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and willingness to learn multiple processes
