A Beneficiary Support Counselor will provide concierge services to company sponsored life insurance beneficiaries. The counselor provides white glove service to assist beneficiaries in filing for life as well as other company sponsored benefits. The counselor will act as the single point of contact and assist the beneficiary through the claims process, submit the claim on behalf of the beneficiary and keep the client updated throughout the process.
Review and analyze available benefits through the supported company. The counselor will verify details and investigate discrepancies.
Communicate with claimants, insurance carriers, the support company, funeral homes, and HR teams.
Review documentation and maintain compliance with HIPPA and insurance laws.
Claim volume will be 300-400 claims a year with clients that have a simple to medium complexity.

Minimum High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
