The OpportunityAt Alera Group, our Employee Benefits team helps organizations attract, retain, and support their employees through innovative benefits solutions. As a
Benefit Analyst, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional client service, building trusted relationships, and helping clients navigate the complexities of employee benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Partner with Consultants and Producers to support client benefit strategy and service initiatives
- Review and monitor ongoing client projects, deliverables, and service requests
- Assist in the management of complex employee benefits accounts and client engagements
- Analyze benefits data, financial information, and plan performance to support client decision-making
- Research benefits, compliance, and industry-related topics to support client needs
- Review client communication materials and benefit documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal partners
- Support special projects, reporting initiatives, and process improvement activities
QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience working in employee benefits or a related field
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, Human Resources, Benefits, or a related field
- Experience supporting employee benefit plan administration or consulting activities
- Active Health, Life, and Accident Insurance License or ability to obtain licensure
- Experience working with insurance carriers, vendors, and employee benefits clients
- Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience analyzing benefits-related financial or operational data
- Knowledge of employee benefits compliance and regulatory requirements
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and industry education
Compensation- Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000 annually
