Processor I – Benefits Operations (Day Shift)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00am - 4:30 pm

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Processor I to join our Benefits Operations team. This role supports retirement and pension administration in a professional, service-driven environment. As a Processor I, you will review and process retirement accounts, support pension-related transactions, and build knowledge of benefit plans, procedures, and internal systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Review retirement account information for accuracy and completeness
  • Process pension benefit calculations and recalculations
  • Set up benefit recipients within internal systems
  • Respond to and process basic service credit inquiries
  • Complete plan-to-plan service transfer processing
  • Conduct initial death reviews and process account terminations
  • Prepare monthly eligibility and verification correspondence
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information
  • Support additional operational and administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and integrity
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in pension administration, benefits operations, or related administrative roles
  • Experience processing financial, retirement, or benefits-related documentation
  • Familiarity with working in structured, process-driven environments

Work Environment
