Benefits Administration Services Associate

Pay Rate: $16.00, which may be below your state''s minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.

Onsite Role - Full Time - Chesapeake, VA

Hours: Varies between 8:00 am - 8:00 pm EST and work two late night shifts of 11:30am - 8:00pm per week

About the Role:

  • Assist participants that are scheduled for appointments regarding their retirement packages, including explanations of available options and required documentation
  • Research and resolve participant inquiries by reviewing account details, plan provisions, and system records
  • Document all calls, actions taken, and resolutions accurately in the system
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all regulatory, privacy, and company policies
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department when necessary
  • Assist with incoming calls from participants regarding retirement and pension benefits in a professional and courteous manner
  • Responsible for managing inbound calls
  • Checking on stop and reissuing cases
  • Managing inboxes
  • Working on death kits
  • Collaborating with the team
  • Provide information on pension eligibility, benefit calculations, and payment timelines

Requirements:

  • Have a High School Diploma, or equivalent

  • Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test

  • Must have strong organization skills

  • Must have excellent Time management skills

  • Must have strong customer service mindset with clear, professional communication and the ability to follow instructions accurately

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $29,640 - $37,050.
