Overview:
The Benefits and Compensation Specialist is responsible for administering and supporting the organizations compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company objectives. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to support compensation planning, benefits administration, and employee inquiries while maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Compensation:
- Support the administration of the companys compensation programs including salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and pay structure management.
- Conduct market analysis and compensation surveys to ensure competitive and equitable pay practice.
- Assist with annual compensation review processes including merit increases, promotions, and bonus planning.
- Provide compensation recommendations to HR and leadership based on market data and internal equity.
- Maintain compensation data and reporting within Workday HRIS.
Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and leave programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution.
- Support annual open enrollment planning, communication, and execution.
- Coordinate with benefits brokers and vendors to ensure effective program delivery.
- Monitor benefits utilization and provide reporting and insights to HR leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits (e.g., ERISA, ACA, FLSA).
- Assist with benefits audits, reporting requirements, and regulatory filings.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
HR Partnership:
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on compensation offers and market data for new hires.
- Support HR leadership with total rewards reporting, analytics, and recommendations.
- Assist with development of benefits and compensation communication materials to improve employee understanding of programs.
