    • Administer day-to-day benefits operations: enrollments, changes, terminations, and qualifying life event updates.
    • Manage leave administration programs, including FMLA, state leave laws, short- and long-term disability, and personal/medical leave requests.

    • Maintain accurate benefits records in the HRIS and prepare reports for leadership as needed.
    • Respond to employee questions regarding plan coverage, costs, and procedures with clear, timely guidance.

Learning & Development / Training Coordination

    • Track and maintain training records for all new hires and existing employees, ensuring completion of required onboarding and compliance training.
    • Coordinate and schedule new-hire onboarding sessions, orientation materials, and training timelines.
    • Monitor training compliance deadlines (e.g., safety, harassment prevention, role-specific certifications) and follow up on outstanding requirements.
    • Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS) or training tracker, including enrollment, completion status, and reporting.
    • Partner with department managers to identify ongoing training needs and coordinate delivery of relevant programs.
    • Assist in developing or sourcing training materials, job aids, and onboarding documentation.
    • Generate regular reports on training completion rates and flag gaps to HR leadership.
    • Support employee development initiatives, including tracking certifications, licenses, and renewal deadlines.

    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • 2–4+ years of experience in benefits administration/general administration, HR generalist work, or training coordination.
    • Working knowledge of health, dental, vision, and life insurance plan administration.
    • Familiarity with leave of absence laws and processes (FMLA, ADA, state-specific leave requirements).
    • Experience using an HRIS and/or Learning Management System (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, Cornerstone, or similar).
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a service-oriented approach to employee inquiries.
    • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, particularly spreadsheets and reporting tools.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification.
