Reporting into the VP, People, the Benefits Analyst supports the day to day administration of U.S. benefits, leave, new hire and related people operations processesThis role is primarily focused on U.S. benefits administration and new hire employee support, while also assisting with select global benefits activities as neededThe Benefits Analyst is responsible for completing transactions in Workday and related systems, responding to employee and internal partner inquiries, conducting new hire meetings, supporting vendor administration, maintaining benefits materials, and following established processes to ensure accurate and timely service deliverySupport day to day administration of U.S. benefits programs and respond to inquiriesReview benefits eligibility, including hours per week checks, and complete related transactions in Workday and other systemsCommunicate with employees regarding eligibility, enrollment, and benefits changes using approved templates and guidanceProcess employment verification requests and other verification requests as neededAssist with I-9 document verification for U.S. new hires and complete related compliance tasksConduct new hire meetingsAssist in managing Workday onboarding completion and mandatory employee trainingsSupport leave and absence administration, including leave processing and related follow upAssist with wellness campaigns and employee communicationsHelp maintain benefits guidebooks, employee facing materials, and other benefits collateralSupport select global benefits activities, as assignedThe ideal candidate is comfortable conducting video-based meetings, communicating directly with employees and internal partners, and working independently with the motivation and follow-through needed to move projects and tasks forward. This role requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills and comfort handling employee data accurately and confidentially. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through. Comfort handling data and reviewing information for accuracy and confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks, follow established processes, drive work forward independently, and elevate issues appropriately. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort conducting video-based meetings and communicating directly with employees and internal partners. 1+ of experience in HR, people operations, benefits administration, data analyst, or customer support preferred, or another role requiring the ability to learn quickly. Familiarity with employment verifications, leave administration, or I-9 processing. Experience with HR systems, Workday preferred. Experience supporting U.S. benefits administration or employee services. Experience with shared mailbox support, employee communications, or HR operations. This role is well suited for an early career HR or people operations professional who is comfortable working within established processes and is eager to learn. The Benefits Analyst is a self-starter who will work closely with more senior team members and is expected to ask questions, seek clarification, and elevate issues when needed.
