Position Overview
We are seeking a Benefits Attorney with 2-4 years of substantial experience in benefits and ERISA law to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging matters, with immediate significant client contact and the autonomy to develop their practice.
 
Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on the design, implementation, and compliance of retirement and benefit plans, including taxation and fiduciary law aspects under ERISA.
  • Provide counsel on complex legal issues involving employee benefits, executive compensation, and plan compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate plan documents and agreements.
  • Analyze regulatory requirements and provide strategic advice to clients on ERISA and related laws.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships through high-quality service and responsiveness.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of substantial experience in benefits and ERISA law, including plan design, implementation, and compliance.
  • Strong academic credentials with a J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Demonstrated experience in a mid-size to large firm setting.
  • Exceptional analytical and writing skills with the ability to manage complex legal issues.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to professional growth and client development.
  • Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
