Benefits & Compensation Manager to support the Human Resources team during a period of increased business activity and organizational growth. This role will be responsible for leading benefits administration, compensation analysis, vendor management, compliance activities, employee support, and HR process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in benefits, compensation, HR systems, analytics, and employee experience.

Schedule: Fully Onsite
Duration: 2-6 Month Contract
Pay Rate: $45-$55/hour
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day administration of health, welfare, retirement, leave of absence, and wellness programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors, brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators.
- Coordinate and support all aspects of open enrollment, including employee communications, system updates, and vendor collaboration.
- Conduct compensation analyses, salary benchmarking, market pricing, and internal equity reviews.
- Assist with annual compensation planning cycles, merit reviews, and compensation recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits and compensation programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave, and compensation matters.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of HRIS, benefits, and compensation-related data.
- Prepare reports, audits, workforce analytics, and dashboards for HR leadership.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.
- Support ongoing HR initiatives and projects related to total rewards programs.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in benefits administration and compensation.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, compensation practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and reporting tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications such as CEBS, CCP, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are preferred.
