WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for resolving escalated and complex benefits questions and concerns from the Benefits Call Center Representative, working closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and effective issue resolution. They process third-party vendor invoices and address minor discrepancies. The coordinator also handles the documentation, processing, and reconciliation of weekly benefit premium payments for employees on leave of absence and assists with required filings and documentation, such as QMCSO. Additionally, they ensure all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA.

  • Resolves escalated and complex benefits questions and concerns from the Benefits Call Center Representative, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and effective issue resolution.
  • Process third-party vendor invoices on a timely and accurate basis, ensuring that all data is correctly entered into the system.
  • Researches and resolves minor discrepancies or errors related to invoice amounts and vendor details.
  • Documents, processes, and reconciles weekly all benefit premium payments for employees on leave of absence.
  • Ensures carriers have accurate demographic and structure-related data at all times.
  • Supports the administration of the company’s education programs including education assistance requests, invoicing, and other tasks.
  • Assists with required documentation and filings, QMCSO, etc.
  • Ensures benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA).
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Travel:  Yes: Minimally, as required (Typically less than 10%)
