Job Description Summary:

This position requires to work in person.

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the Benefits Mailbox, answering and following up on employee emails and obtaining the appropriate guidance to provide feedback.
  • Responsible for answering and retrieving voicemails from the Benefits Line.
  • Prepares new hire benefit information packages for orientation.
  • Prepares and creates letters for Life and LTD policies conversion by using mail merge, in order to communicate Life and LTD conversion eligibility.
  • Creates LTD eligibility letters on a monthly bais for employees who are newly eligible.
  • Prepares letters communicating to employees any benefit eligibility changes as a result of a recent status change.
  • Reviews Tuition Reimbursement Applications and supporting documents for accuracy to ensure completeness, verifies that eligibility requirements are met and determines the correct reimbursement amount to be paid.
  • Maintains the Tuition Reimbursement log with accurate data.
  • Asseses employee files for accuracy and missing documents prior to scanning into OneContent.
  • Scans employee and benefit documents into OneContent and ensures that they are indexed correctly.
  • Sends scanned employee files/documents and terminated files to Iron Mountain on a scheduled basis and ensures that they are labeled correctly and assigned a destruction date as indicated in the Record Retention policy. Retrieves files as requested.
  • Establishes processes within the functional area to manage daily priorities and meet the needs of the department.
  • Acts as a guide within the respective team. Demonstrates a positive a "can do " and  "team work " attitude, with a willingness to assist co-workers in the completion of daily tasks or special projects.
  • Communicates effectively with all parties and follows through on assigned tasks until resolved or completed.
  • Engages in honest and ethical conduct , using reasonable diligence to detect any problems or violations of the organization corporate Compliance Program.
