Customer Service Representative | Pleasanton, CA

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support union members with questions and concerns regarding their benefits. This is a high-volume, phone-based position ideal for someone who is patient, professional, and comfortable assisting customers throughout the day.

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Work Arrangement: Fully onsite

Pay: $25-$30/hour

Employment Type: Temporary, 6-month assignment

Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls, averaging 70+ calls per day.

• Assist union members with questions and concerns regarding their benefits.

• Provide clear, professional, and courteous customer service.

• Research member inquiries and help resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Accurately document member interactions and maintain detailed records.

• Escalate more complex issues when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service, call center, or high-volume phone experience preferred.

• Comfortable handling 70+ calls per day.

• Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.

• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.

• Patient, professional, and customer-service focused.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling a variety of member questions.

• Ability to work fully onsite in Pleasanton, CA.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
