Build rapport quickly and respond to customers compassionately while delivering respectful, accurate, timely support via phone, email, and instant message
Adapt your customer service approach to different member personalities and communication styles while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy on difficult calls
Handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA, Data Privacy laws, and company data security requirements
Translate health & welfare and pension terms and complex plan information into clear, simple explanations members can understand and act on
Read and interpret plan documents and online knowledgebase tools, gather relevant information, resolve immediate questions, and anticipate future member needs
Location: Must live within 2 hours of San Diego, CA 92108
Work Style: Hybrid
On-site required on Day 1
Required to come onsite for meetings or major projects as needed
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Availability: Monday–Friday only
Hours vary 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, 32–40 hours/week. Extended hours are 8a – 9p.
Possible OT; may need availability 5:30 AM–8:00 PM
