Raleigh, NC (Hybrid Schedule) |$100,000 - $120,000 Base Salary | 300-500 Employees

We're looking for a Benefits Manager to lead the strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of our employee benefits offerings while serving as a trusted resource for employees and leadership.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join a growing organization where you'll have the autonomy to drive benefit programs, oversee compliance, manage leave administration, and ensure employees have access to the resources they need to thrive.

What You'll Do

Lead the administration and optimization of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits programs.

Manage and enhance the company's 401(k) program, including vendor relationships, employee education, and compliance.

Serve as the subject matter expert for FMLA, ADA, leave management, and employee accommodations.

Oversee Workers' Compensation programs, claims management, return-to-work initiatives, and partnership with carriers.

Lead annual open enrollment efforts and employee benefits communications.

Analyze benefits utilization, costs, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.

Partner with HR leadership to develop competitive benefits strategies that support talent attraction and retention.

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations related to benefits and leave administration.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience managing employee benefits programs.

Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, COBRA, ERISA, and benefits compliance.

Experience administering and managing 401(k) plans and retirement vendors.

Ability to balance employee advocacy with business needs.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex benefits programs clearly and effectively.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
