The Benefits Representative is responsible for the design, development, implementation and ongoing administration of assigned health & welfare benefit plans.

Responsibilities include:

• Participating in the development, implementation and administration of employee and retiree benefit programs.
• Conducting research and analysis related to health and welfare benefit plans and develops sound recommendations.
• Educating HR team members, employees and retirees on benefit plans, policies and procedures.
• Advising on eligibility, coverage, claim procedures, and other benefits matters.
• Functioning as a liaison to benefit vendor partners.
• Participating on annual open enrollment and HR projects.
• Providing support to the HR Help Desk team.
• Ensuring compliance with benefit-related laws.
• Maintaining company plan documents.
• Monitoring Affordable Care Act (ACA) status.
• Monitoring plan enrollment and audit records.
• Working closely with IT and HR Analytics.
• Participating in audit inquiries.
• Analyzing benefits data and reporting requests.
• Seeking process improvements.

Qualifications at the HR Rep III level include:

• Bachelor''s degree and 4-7 years relevant experience, or 7 years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Understanding of HR functional areas.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Oracle proficiency.
• Strong communication, organization and analytical skills.

Qualifications at the HR Rep IV level include the above plus:

• Bachelor''s degree and minimum 7 years experience, or 10 years in lieu of degree.
