Overview
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well‑established organization in The Woodlands, TX to hire a Benefits Specialist with a strong focus on Leave of Absence (LOA) administration. This role is ideal for a benefits professional who is personable, proactive, and comfortable supporting employees through complex leave processes while partnering closely with HR and payroll teams.
Job Summary
The Benefits Specialist will manage all aspects of Leave of Absence (LOA) administration, including FMLA, personal, parental, medical, and ADA‑related leaves. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws and company policies while providing clear guidance and support to employees regarding leave, pay continuation, and benefits during their time away.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage all employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, personal, parental, medical, and ADA‑related leaves
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee LOA inquiries, providing a supportive and compliant experience
Coordinate with HR partners, payroll, and third‑party vendors to ensure accurate leave tracking and pay continuation
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws as well as internal policies
Maintain accurate documentation, track leave data, and support audits as needed
Assist with broader benefits administration and provide team support when required
Qualifications
Must‑Have Requirements
Experience in a comprehensive benefits role
Extensive, hands‑on Leave of Absence administration experience, including:
FMLA
Personal leave
Parental leave
ADA‑related leaves
Ability to manage leave cases end‑to‑end while maintaining compliance
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Strong communication and employee‑facing skills
Comfortable working in a fully onsite environment
Hands‑on, collaborative, team‑oriented approach
