As the Benefits Strategist at HXP, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience through thoughtful, data-driven benefits programs. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be at the center of designing, managing, and optimizing benefits that support our team.
This role is ideal for someone who is both analytical and people-focused—someone who can translate data into strategy, communicate clearly, and continuously improve how we care for our employees.
Benefits strategy & design
Develop and refine HXP’s benefits offerings (health, retirement, perks) to remain competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with employee needs.
Program management
Oversee day-to-day administration of the benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, renewals, and vendor coordination.
Employee support & education
Serve as a trusted resource for employees, answering questions and helping them understand and maximize their benefits.
Data-driven decision making
Analyze benefits utilization, costs, and trends to provide insights and recommendations that improve offerings and optimize spend.
Compliance & risk management
Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and international regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA), maintaining accurate documentation and processes.
Process innovation
Identify and implement more efficient systems to streamline benefits administration and improve the employee experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
1–3+ years of experience in HR or benefits administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
Knowledge of compliance requirements
Understanding of benefits programs and HR benefits best practices
Excellent communication skills with a high level of empathy and professionalism
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Full-Time Schedule:
Hybrid format
Onsite M/W/F (8:45 AM – 4:45 PM)
Remote T/Th, with Tuesday afternoons (1:00 – 4:45 PM) dedicated to Personal Improvement Time (time to work on your own projects).
