About the role

• Friendly and helpful students needed to usher events in Benson Great Hall. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, collecting tickets, distributing programs, directing guests to various locations and assisting guests with accessibility needs
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• End Date: May 22, 2027

Qualifications

• Must be a current student
• Be able to stand for a minimum of two hours
• Must be able to work 3 Festival of Christmas performances on December 4-6
• Own black pants and a white shirt

Expected Hours of Work:

Hours vary depending on the Benson Great Hall event schedule. Most shifts are two hours and take place on weekends, with a few shifts on weekday evenings. Ushers sign up to work the events they want, but they typically work about 3 times a month. Ushers are required to work at least three of the four Festival of Christmas performances.
