What You Can Expect
As a BESS Technical Advisor within ENGIE Distributed Solar & Storage (DSS) you will support development of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in our Pre-construction team. You will collaborate with Development, Origination, Engineering, Execution, and Procurement teams to find and develop attractive opportunities for BESS projects and lead technical and commercial aspects (cost) of BESS developments. You will contribute to technical aspects of proposals, permitting, and interconnection efforts of multiple developments and programs simultaneously, as outlined below:

This role is eligible for ENGIEs hybrid work policy
Requires weekly attendance at a worksite
Domestic travel required up to 15% with overnight trips as needed
Must comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Role includes outdoor work with exposure to weather conditions
Compensation
Salary Range: $130,000 $ 190,000 annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
