    About the job

BetaDev is a specialist group within Go-to-Market (GTM) Product Strategy and Operations. Our mission is to evaluate product-market fit, ease of adoption and performance to ensure Google Ads products are market-ready, intuitive, and built to scale globally.

In this role, you will help accelerate the speed-to-launch decisions for early-stage ad products. By designing and managing small-scale pilots and onboarding advertisers to use the new products, you will develop strong expertise on the new product and gather critical quantitative data and direct qualitative feedback on product-market fit, ease of use/adoption, and performance. Your primary objective is to translate these findings into actionable insights to assess scale readiness, help refine product roadmaps, and inform commercialization decisions.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google"s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    • Partner with cross-functional teams to help define test hypotheses and evaluation criteria, and support alignment on overall testing approach. Communicate status updates with key stakeholders.
    • Assess new products against market fit, adoption, and performance metrics, augmented by customer pitch calls, interviews, and surveys and lessons learned during product troubleshooting. Deliver a final analysis to product decision makers to help inform next-stage incubation and commercialization decisions.
    • Flag and remove execution blockers, pivot strategies based on real market signals, and remain unbiased in assessing readiness. Provide data-backed insights and recommendations to help evaluate solutions and shape product roadmaps based on customer needs.
    • Support the definition of successful launch requirements, partner effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals, and continuously improve operations using growing market expertise.
