Bethlehem YMCA: Fitness Floor Associates & Personal Trainers (2/2)

OPEN POSITIONS: 

FITNESS FLOOR ASSOCIATE (2) – $16.43/Hr

Minimum Qualifications:

• • Minimum of 18 years of age is required
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Minimum of one-year experience in customer service or wellness field preferred
  • YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification (completed within 60 days of hire)

PERSONAL TRAINER (2) - $23.31/Hr

Minimum Qualifications: 

• • Current national certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, and NASM) in Personal Training instruction required
  • One year experience in wellness field is preferred
  • At least one year of experience teaching group wellness classes preferred

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (BOTH POSITIONS):

• • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
  • New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)

WORK SCHEDULE: PART TIME (LESS THAN 28 hrs/week)

• Fitness Floor Associate 
  • Various shift coverage, especially weekends
• Personal Trainer
  
  • Sessions scheduled by appointment with clients
