A beveling machine operator shapes the edges of metal pieces to a specific angle. This helps parts fit together correctly for welding or assembly.

What You Will Do

Set up and run a machine that cuts angles on metal edges
Check metal before and after cutting to make sure it meets quality standards
Measure and mark metal so cuts are accurate
Adjust the machine to get the correct angle and depth
Clean and maintain the machine to keep it running properly
Grind edges when needed to smooth or finish the part
Follow safety rules while working with equipment
Work with different types of metal
Help the team meet daily production goals

Skills and Requirements

Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred
Ability to read basic blueprints or drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good hand eye coordination
Mechanical ability and problem-solving skills
Able to stand for long periods and do repetitive work
Able to work alone and with a team
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
