DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS
The Beverage Cart Attendant - PT is responsible for performing routine work in preparing and cleaning, the beverage cart and driving around the golf course selling beverages and snacks to golfers. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Golf Operations Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Inspects beverage cart.
- Will assist with sanitizing and assuring cleanliness of beverage cart.
- Regularly stock the beverage cart with drinks, snacks, ice, and other necessary supplies, ensuring proper inventory levels
- Is responsible for driving a cart around a golf course, serving drinks and snacks to golfers, handling cash transactions, maintaining the cleanliness and stock of the cart, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with all food and beverage safety regulations.
- This job requires a friendly and engaging personality to interact with golfers throughout their rounds.
- Accurately process cash transactions and maintain proper cash accountability.
- Efficiently take orders from golfers on the course, serving drinks, snacks, and other items from the beverage cart.
- Greet golfers in a friendly manner, provide information about the course if needed, and address any concerns or requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential function of this position, as is the ability to create and maintain professional, harmonious working relationships with others.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED & EXERCISED
- Receives general supervision from the Golf Operations Manager.
QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
Knowledge of:
- Operational knowledge of beverage cart, cash handling policies and inventory management.
- Customer service principles and practices.
- Safety principles, practices, and techniques related to golf course safety.
Ability to:
- Operate a golf cart or similar utility vehicle.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Work on weekends.
- Work cooperatively with other City employees and the public.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent; or six (6) months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses, Certificates & Registrations:
- Valid Texas Driver's License.
- TABC Certifications must be obtained within first 3 months of employment.
- Food Handler License preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee is regularly required to sit and use hands and fingers. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
