THE ROLE
The Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all beverage operations across multiple high-volume entertainment and event venues, ensuring exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, inventory control, compliance, and profitability. This role leads beverage staff, manages vendor relationships, maintains venue standards, and executes beverage service for sporting events, concerts, festivals, and private functions. The Beverage Manager ensures all bars, storage areas, and service locations are fully operational, properly staffed, and aligned with company and partner expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day beverage operations across all assigned venues and event spaces.
Coordinate and manage beverage service for concerts, sporting events, festivals, and private events
Ensure all bars, portable locations, concession bars, and service areas are properly set, stocked, and operational prior to event start times.
Monitor service execution during events to maintain speed, quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
Ensure all beverage locations are cleaned, secured, and reset at the end of each shift or event.
Maintain adherence to deadlines for setup, event readiness, reporting, ordering, and post-event closeout.
Staff Leadership & Development
Recruit, interview, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate bartenders, supervisors, and support personnel.
Lead daily pre-shift meetings to communicate expectations, activations, safety updates, and service goals.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing development opportunities.
Support staff in all operational areas as needed during peak service times.
Inventory Control & Financial Accountability
Maintain strict inventory controls for liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and non-alcoholic products across all venues.
Manage pars, replenishment process, transfers, and accurate inventory counts.
Oversee receiving, storage, rotation, and organization of beverage inventory in warehouses, coolers, and storage rooms.
Investigate variances, minimize loss, and implement controls to reduce waste and shrinkage.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling beverage cost percentages and labor expenses.
Prepare and complete all required paperwork, inventory reports, invoices, and reconciliation documents accurately and on time.
Vendor & Partner Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, suppliers, and beverage partners.
Ensure all sponsor and vendor standards are executed properly, including branded displays, product placement, menu offerings, signage, and activation requirements.
Coordinate product orders, deliveries, equipment needs, and event-specific beverage requests.
Negotiate pricing, monitor product quality, and identify new beverage opportunities.
Compliance & Safety
Enforce all alcohol service laws, ID verification procedures, and responsible beverage service policies.
Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, fire, and workplace safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections of bars, storage rooms, coolers, and service areas.
Complete incident reports and address operational issues promptly and professionally.
Guest Experience & Revenue Growth
Drive revenue and enhance the guest experience through exceptional service standards, staff upselling, premium offerings, specialty beverage programs, and collaboration with culinary, marketing, operations, and premium sales teams.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred
3–5+ years of experience in beverage operations
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience in high-volume stadium, arena, or large venue preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and revenue
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
