    JOB SUMMARY:

    Manages the overall operations of the Casino Beverage Floor

    KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Assist the Director of Beverage Operations in establishing strategy and positioning. Think strategically and operationally about factors such as beverage concepts/trends, pricing, quality, marketing, price/value perceptions, customer satisfaction, employee training and development as they relate to the overall Beverage products.
    • Ensures the beverage service at Caesars Entertainment is distinguishable from competitors in the area.
    • Manages long term finances, including budget preparation, capital expenditures and analysis of financial performance.
    • Motivates and mentors supervisory team
    • Manages safety and sanitary conditions of all assigned areas to preclude liability and ensure integrity of necessary for liquor licensing and health permits.
    • Supervises team development: hiring, promoting, disciplinary actions, terminations, sensitive employee relations problems and department morale.
    • Assists with financial and business operating plans and capital expenditure plans that are consistent with the overall strategic positioning of the property.
    • Anticipates and reacts to changes in planning assumptions and alters plans as necessary.
    • Formally presents updates to plans and provides appropriate explanations and solutions to variances.
    • Responsible for actively building and retaining customer relations and acting as a mentor to team members to provide superior customer service.
    • Hires, trains, motivates, evaluates, and supervises assigned personnel; coaches for success and continuing improvement of team member skills.
    • Implements new concepts/products/trends with shared vision by the Director of Beverage.
    • Stays abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences and expectations and competing restaurant offerings in the immediate market.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree preferred
    • Minimum of five years Food & Beverage experience
    • Two years supervisory experience

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Fluent and literate in English
    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Good interpersonal skills, with emphasis in relationship building
    • Good problem solving skills
    • Good customer service skills, both internal and external
    • Ability to negotiate with diverse departments
    • Ability to implement strategic visions/plans into day-to-day operations
    • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
    • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
    • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

    PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

    • Mobility to move quickly around the property
    • Visual and auditory range must include immediate environment
    • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment
    • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
