The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to all guests, including taking orders, suggestive selling, serving beverages, and clearing tables.  This position is instrumental in creating an environment and executing service that blows our guests away.  The Servers – Casino Service must continually seek opportunities to create memories by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and building relationships. This position is a hourly tipped position, $7.25 plus tips.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Bristol their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
•  Takes customer drink orders, serves drinks and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Adheres to food and beverage policies and State Liquor Laws.
• Completes all required set-up duties on time. 
• Keeps station clean at all times.
• Promotes positive customer relations.
• Responsible for the receipt of monies and settlement of guests checks.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager.

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

High school diploma or equivalent required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc):

• Must have valid Food Handlers Card, Liquor License, and Gaming Badge when working. 

• Must have good oral communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills must include a positive, friendly and outgoing attitude, common courtesy towards others and the ability to deal successfully with stressful situations.
• Must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds frequently throughout shift.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have the ability to withstand noisy and smoke filled environments. 
• Must be able to sit 20% of shift and walk 80% of shift.

EMPLOYMENT PROCESS:

Hard Rock's employment process requires candidates to obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check prior to beginning employment. The background check may include, but is not limited to:

PAY RANGE:

$2 - $25/Hourly
