    Job Description

    Position Summary:

    The Beverage Server is responsible for taking Guest drink orders, securing payment, and delivering drinks according to Thunder Valley specifications. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

    Essential Functions:

    • Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort's "ELITE" company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
    • Take drink orders and offer specials by describing the method of preparation and price for each.
    • Make other drink recommendations, up-selling when possible.
    • Prepare drinks to proper Thunder Valley standards and specifications.
    • Record transactions into the point-of-sale (POS) system following established Thunder Valley procedures.
    • Ensure that all Guests are of legal drinking age and that they are not over-served following Company and Department procedures.
    • Ensure that beverage stations are properly stocked and that products are fresh and rotated.
    • Prepare coffee and other hot beverages.
    • Ensure appropriate levels of glassware are available.
    • Follow established side work duties.
    • Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly including cocoa machines, coffee makers, and coolers. Report any malfunctioning equipment to Beverage management.
    • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
    • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
    • Requires bending and reaching for supplies and equipment.
    • Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of shift.
    • Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
    • Ability to communicate using a two-way radio.
