Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in assisting individuals to achieve social, economic, emotional, and physical balance and personal independence.
• Provide professional behavioral health case management services, including assessments, treatment planning, direct service provision, and management of client risk and safety.
• Report to an administrative superior and support the integrity of the Department of Health and Human Services – Division of Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
• Offer consultative services to other state and private agencies and refer clients/patients to appropriate social service agencies.

Requirements

• Possession of a Master's Degree in Behavioral or Social Science or a related field.
• Three years of experience in case management, including assessing, planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating services to meet individual needs.
• Three years of experience in providing clinical treatment, counseling, or determining eligibility for services or benefits as part of a treatment team.

Preferences

• Experience working in a psychiatric outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with person-centered services and management of client risk and safety.
