Job Summary
Has the ability to provide thorough and meaningful training experiences for new team members during Training and Opening Weeks at a new Bowe Hospitality Group Culver's location. Ensures that all new team members are trained to make sure every guest leaves happy. The National Trainer will be employed by and work on behalf of the receiving BHG restaurant for the duration of the opening assignment.
Essential Functions
1. Effectively trains new team members according to procedures in the Operations Manual to ensure that every guest who chooses Culver's leaves happy.
2. Instructs others on the making of quality products while maintaining proper food safety practices, portion control, and presentation within service goal times.
3. Explains each position in detail using training guides and the Operations Manual to ensure complete understanding of trainees' function and relation to the overall operation.
4. Committed to teamwork, demonstrating integrity and honesty while interacting with everyone.
5. Sets the safety standard at all times in the opening restaurant and looks out for the safety of other team members and guests.
6. Trains and demonstrates effective food safety practices according to the Operations Manual and ServSafe. Accurately completes and understands the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist as well as Product Rotation Reports.
7. Reports to each shift in a neat, clean, and unwrinkled uniform. Maintains a neat, well-groomed appearance including personal hygiene, hair restraint, and jewelry restrictions.
8. Reports to each shift on time. Is considered by peers as reliable and dependable.
9. Follows established restaurant practices and procedures.
10. Performs primary and secondary position responsibilities timely and accurately.
11. Performs any other miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
12. Demonstrates positive and effective role modeling for all team members through appearance and attitude, according to the Operations Manual and Code of Conduct.
13. Effectively handles, and trains others to handle, guest comments promptly and courteously.
14. Has the ability to be away from home for the duration of the opening assignment.
15. Effectively teaches Culver's material in a classroom-style setting to as many as 100 new team members.
16. Follows communications from BHG leadership, CFS, and The Hub to stay up to date on Culver's most current best practice procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
17. Represents Bowe Hospitality Group and the Culver's brand with professionalism and integrity in all interactions with the receiving restaurant's ownership, operators, and team members.
Qualifications
Employed at a Bowe Hospitality Group Culver's restaurant for at least six months and 18 years of age or older. Has the ability to teach knowledge and skills to all personality and learning styles. Exhibits good communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have a patient and positive attitude and remain calm in stressful situations. Is responsible and can be relied upon to perform duties with little to no supervision. Completion of the BHG Train the Trainer program preferred. Must not currently be enrolled in the Culver's Mentoring program.

Employment Note
For the duration of each opening assignment, the National Trainer is employed by and works under the direction of the receiving Bowe Hospitality Group restaurant. Compensation during the assignment, including overtime, is administered through the receiving restaurant's payroll. NT wage is set at a rate above the trainer's home restaurant base wage, subject to BHG minimums and maximums. Exceptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
