Gratitude Lodge

Location: Newport Beach, CA

Schedule: Full-Time, 11pm to 7am, Sun-Thurs

Pay: $20 per hour

 

Gratitude Lodge is a compassionate and client-focused behavioral health organization dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. We are looking for a BHT to join our overnight team and help provide high-quality care in a structured and supportive environment.

 

Job Summary

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will be responsible for providing direct client care, maintaining documentation, ensuring adherence to facility rules, and supporting clients through their recovery process.

 

Key Responsibilities

Enforce company policies, procedures, and protocols

Complete client intakes in the EMR system upon admission

Conduct rounds to monitor client safety and compliance

Perform drug testing per approved procedures

Conduct medication pass with clients

Maintain accurate client documentation and report observations to the Operations Director

Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of facility supplies

Effectively communicate with supervisors and team members

 

Education & Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR & First Aid certification
  • Certified or registered as RADT, SUDRC, etc.
    • Experience: Understanding of counseling and treatment procedures for substance use disorders
    • Skills: Strong organization, crisis management, proficiency in documentation & data entry, and a compassionate approach to client care

 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Quiet work environment
  • Frequent sitting, occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)
  • TB test within one year prior to or within 7 days of hire; annual health screening required
